It was noted in the programme that one of the most important happenings affecting the efficiency of the Society for this production was the provision of a new proscenium in the Town Hall. The problem of acoustics being largely solved.
Produced in 1951 you see many names involved with the Society in the late 20's and 30's and directed by Harry Tresize.
