LADS have Two Enthusiastic Youth Groups
Starting Stars: for ages 7 to 11 years, a very active group involved in learning the basic skills of Drama, play acting, drama games to raise awareness, interpretation and improvisation and taking part in productions. This group meet weekly working on a variety of projects and rehearsals under the direction of Liz Eagle. Currently they meets at the Methodist Hall from 7.15 to 8.30 on Monday evenings with short breaks in the school holidays. As the members reach to age of 12 they have the opportunity to move up to the Youth Theatre Group. A fee of 50p/meeting is made.

Youth Theatre Group: for ages 12 to 18 years, involved in production, play reading and taking part in competitive festival plays. This group has been very successful at this level bringing back trophies for Best Youth performances on two occasions and Best Actors and Actresses. We aim through Drama to increase self confidence of the young people and give them opportunity to develop skills, inter act with adults and their peers in a meaningful way. The group meets weekly developing drama skills and rehearsals for productions. This is under the direction of Oksana Wroath from 4.00 to 6.00 on Mondays at the Green Room or Methodist Hall depending on the programme schedule. A fee of £1/ meeting is charged.
